Gaolang Gong is currently a full professor/group leader at the State Key Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience and Learning, Beijing Normal University, Beijing, China. He received his PhD at Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, and then did his postdoctoral training at University of Alberta and Mcgill University, Canada. His research focuses on the computational methods and platform development for analyzing and evaluating multi-modal MRI data, as well as their application in cognitive neuroscience, particularly in human brain asymmetries. He has published more than 70 peer-reviewed papers, and his research lab can be found at http://gonglab.bnu.edu.cn.
